Enjoy a relaxing ride outside of the crowded city. These rides are similar to our public Windmill, Cheese & Clogs Tour, but on a private tour we can venture even further (or shorter) outside of Amsterdam. Feel free to depart at whatever time fits your schedule, ride at your own pace, and stop whenever you desire. Stop to see the cows at the Rembrandt Farm and sample some their cheeses or skip the farm and visit the village of Oude Kerk... or visit both.
Oude Kerk is a quaint village located directly on the Amstel River with one high/main street, a few cafes, a couple of churches. It is a very typical Dutch village. Besides being a lovely village, it is also home the oldest Jewish graveyard in the Netherlands (Beth Haim). The tour is roughly 20-28 km and covers mostly flat terrain.
Request a private tour by filling in a short form on our Booking & Info page. Advanced reservations and a deposit are preferred.
*Large groups, photography junkies and scholars will take more time than the above estimates!
"It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them." - Ernest Hemingway
